In Easton, Maryland, this project involved creating a dual experience of warmth and style for a home. This project centered around the removal of existing patio doors to make way for a striking two-sided fireplace, serving as both an interior focal point and an exterior gathering place.

On the interior, the fireplace boasts a sleek black slate surround and hearth, embodying a modern yet timeless elegance. Above it, our custom-fabricated fireplace mantle and paneled wall serve as a testament to our fine craftsmanship. This design was further accentuated by the installation of new windows on each side of the fireplace, inviting natural light to enhance the room’s ambiance.

Transitioning to the exterior, the fireplace features a stone veneer that echoes the natural beauty of the surrounding area, complemented by a rustic wood mantel milled from a tree log on the property. This touch not only adds character to the space but also tells a story of the home’s connection to its environment.

The addition of a flagstone patio, set in stone dust, provides a perfect outdoor retreat for relaxation and entertainment. Its natural stone finish and careful placement enhance the property’s landscape while offering durability and timeless appeal.

Further enhancing the home’s functionality, we designed and fabricated a custom mobile kitchen island with a granite top for the owner. This piece stands as a versatile and stylish addition to the kitchen, featuring quality materials, hardware, and finishes, ensuring durability and a seamless match with the home’s decor.
